The Blanket Tunic! Designed as an easy wearing tunic ideal for cool summer nights when out camping or by the BBQ. The tunic can be made from most woven fabrics although is ideally suited for recycling that old blanket that's looking a bit tired. Although for a cooler feel this looks fabulous in linen fabric.

This is an easy fit, with 20cm added ease across the chest. Which will serve well to be worn over thinner clothes such as a T-shirt.

There is no collar, just a facing with a slit opening, which means the collar doesn't get in the way when worn over something else. Two top pockets and turn up cuffs.

The back of the tunic is 10cm longer than the front, although you can trim this down to the same length as the front if you prefer something a little more symmetrical.

This pattern will require some knowledge of sewing and an understanding of what pattern symbols mean (if you not sure please search on line for pattern symbols or refer to a good sewing book).

Approximate amounts of fabric required:

2.2m main fabric (wool, 150cm wide)
or an old blanket
3x buttons (1.5-2cm diameter recommended)
Matching threads

Please read the instructions included for further information on fabric requirements etc.
