The skirt features 6 gores (or panels), it is fitted
around the waist and hips, and flares out as it extends
to the bottom of the skirt, giving the skirt lots of
movement when worn
The finished length of the skirt is 35" (89cm), which for the average person will mean this skirt will finish at ankle length. The pattern can always be adjusted a little by adding some extra length for a full length skirt.

This pattern will require some knowledge of sewing and an understanding of what pattern symbols mean (if you not sure please search on line for pattern symbols or refer to a good sewing book).
Approximate amounts of fabric required:
2.5m fabric (most fabrics are suitable, avoid very heavy, very stretchy and sheer fabrics)
A small piece of iron on lightweight interfacing (enough for the waistband)
1 button or trouser sized hook and eye
8" zip
matching threads

THIS IS NOT A PRINTED PAPER PATTERN:
The patterns included are size 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 . These are FULL SIZE patterns (this is an all in one/multisized pattern so you can adjust the pattern should you be an in between size, and cut the size you need), so there is no need to worry about enlarging or scaling up the patterns, all you have to do is print them off on A4 paper and assemble the pieces (full printing instructions are included) and cut out the size you need.
