The blouse has been designed to be lighted fitted, which gives a look of some tailoring yet is still very comfortable to wear. The back of the blouse/shirt should finish just blow the hips.

In a light linen fabric this will make an excellent summer blouse, or for a work blouse/shirt a make in a tightly woven cotton.

The front of the blouse fastens with 4 buttons, and the sleeves are just straight hemmed which makes them very easy to finish.

This pattern will require a basic knowledge of sewing and an understanding of what pattern symbols mean (if you not sure please search on line for pattern symbols or refer to a good sewing book).

The most complex part of this pattern will be attaching the collar and the button holes/buttons. But if you have some knowledge of applying these it should be no problem, otherwise refer to a good sewing book.

Approximate amounts of fabric required (all sizes):

2m fabric (115cm wide), cottons, linens or other lightweight woven fabrics
80cm light weight iron on interfacing (90cm wide)
4 x buttons (any size, but make sure you add any extra needed to the button holes if using large buttons)

Please read the instructions included for further information on fabric requirements etc.
