This
is a Laura Marsh Designs original pattern and can only
be purchased direct from myself.
The
jacket has been designed to be worn as an accompaniment
to any evening dress, as it is light weight and an
excellent cover up for when you don't wish to show off
your shoulder an arms.
The
jacket features
gently fluted sleeves which are wider than standard
sleeves at the cuff for easy wear yet similar in width
at the top to a standard sleeve so as to be flattering
to the tops of the arms.
The back of the jacket is a high
waist line, which then drops down to a point at the
front of the jacket which finishes at a normal waist
height. (Longer than a bolero jacket but not as long as
a standard short jacket)
The finished jacket is then trimmed
with marabou feather trim (or similar).
This
pattern will require some knowledge of sewing and an
understanding of what pattern symbols mean (if you not
sure please search on line for pattern symbols or refer
to a good sewing book).
Approximate amounts of fabric required:
2m
main lace fabric (150cm wide)
4m marabou feather
trim (or other chosen trimmings)
matching thread
No fastening is needed for this
jacket, however should you like to use one, a brooch
would make an ideal feature as a fastening on the front
of this jacket.
Please read the instructions included for further information on
fabric requirements etc.

size you need) , so there is no need to worry about
enlarging or scaling up the patterns, all you have to do is
print them off on A4 paper and assemble the pieces (full
printing instructions are included) and cut out the size you
need.
Full
photographic instructions are included. Each step by step
photo is in colour and easy to follow.
