The Leilah dress is a princess line dress with sweet heart neck detail. It is designed to be made out of crushed velvet fabric and a rich woven fabric such as taffeta or satin, although other fabrics can be used (non-stretch fabrics may require the use of a zipper or other back closure).

The dress features, bell sleeves with a double layer of lace underneath, contrasting front panel, a sweet heart neck line, and front and back lacing for a corseting effect.

This dress also has a separate underskirt, which is designed to be made from dress netting and lace, over which the main dress fits. The dress is accented on each seam with a fabric rose and gathered bottom edge. The finished pattern length is 58inches although lengthening/shortening lines are included in the pattern (to the finished length of the underskirt, the main dress is shorter).

As the dress has been designed to be made from a fabric with stretch, there are lacing loops that run down the back, to enable the dress to be tightened for a closer fit, if needed.

To save you money this pattern will be sent emailed in a digital format. This means you can use the pattern over and over again, without worrying about tearing or marking the pattern, so it’s ideal if you need to make any alterations, as if you make a mistake you can simply print another.

The patterns included are size 8–10, 12-14, 16-18 and 20-22 (see size chart below). These are FULL SIZE patterns (this is an all in one/multi-sized pattern so you can adjust the pattern should you be an in-between size, and cut the size you need) , so there is no need to worry about enlarging or scaling up the patterns, all you have to do is print them off on A4 paper and assemble the pieces (full printing instructions are included) and cut out the size you need.

A brief overview on how to assemble the dress is included, as well as the images shown. I have included both colour and non-coloured images, which will enable you to colour them at home to test your colour schemes.

The digital format of the patterns is readable on all computers, you will need to have pdf reading software installed on your PC to view the files.
