The skirt has been designed to be an easy wearing skirt that will look great as day or evening wear. It should be made from soft flowing fabrics for a lightweight and elegant look.

The skirt has a finished length of 24.5inches / 62cm, which for most women should mean the skirt length finishes just below the knee, although you may wish to lengthen or shorten the pattern to get your preferred length.

The skirt features a faced yoke waistline, which is very flattering, and fastens at the side with a concealed zip (although you can use any fastening of your choice).

This pattern will require some knowledge of sewing and an understanding of what pattern symbols mean (if you not sure please search on line for pattern symbols or refer to a good sewing book).

Approximate amounts of fabric required:

2m main lace fabric (150cm wide) (polyester, viscose, silks or other flowing fabric)

1m India tape or twill tape

8inch zip

To save you money this pattern will be sent as a download in a digital format. This means you can use the pattern over and over again, without worrying about tearing or marking the pattern, so it’s ideal if you need to make any alterations, as if you make a mistake you can simply print another.

The patterns included are size 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 (see size chart below). These are FULL SIZE patterns (this is an all in one/multisized pattern so you can adjust the pattern should you be an inbetween size, and cut the size you need) , so there is no need to worry about enlarging or scaling up the patterns, all you have to do is print them off on A4 paper and assemble the pieces (full printing instructions are included) and cut out the size you need.

Body Measurements For Patterns 

The digital format of the patterns is readable on all computers, you will need to have pdf reading software installed on your PC to view the files. There are many free packages available, a popular one can be found on www.adobe.com, although you may wish to find one which suits you, Microsoft also offer free pdf reading software.
