The regency costume is a full length fully lined dress.
The neck line is a deep scoop neck, which is typical of the period; however the dress is not historically accurate.
It features an empire waist line, with button fastenings down the back of the dress and the sleeves.
The sash is separate to the dress but could easily be attached as a permanent feature.
This dress will require an intermediate skill level of sewing, and an understanding of pattern markings. Full sewing instructions are included as well as additional instructions on making rouleau loops for the buttons and piping for the neckline (the piping is an optional feature that could be left off).

Approximate amounts of fabric required (all sizes):
4.65m main dress fabric 112/115cm wide (silks, satins or fine cottons etc)
4.05m lining fabric 112/115cm wide (cotton lining recommended)
3m fabric for sash 112/115cm wide (chiffon, satin, organza or georgette)
1m narrow cotton piping cord
34 small dress buttons (self fabric covered where possible)
34 rouleau loops
Optional hook and eyes

The patterns included are size 8-22 UK Sizes. These are FULL SIZE patterns (this is an all in one/multisized pattern so you can adjust the pattern should you be an inbetween size, and cut the size you need).
